RICHMOND RIVER EQUINE VETERINARY SERVICES
We are a small business founded in February 2022, with the purpose of providing a professional and compassionate veterinary service for horse owners in the Northern Rivers. We are based in Bagotville/Meerschaumvale between Alstonville and Wardell. We cover the regions from Mullumbimby (north most point) - Iluka (south most point) and west to Casino. We occasionally offer group visits to the Kyogle area for dentistry & lameness.
DR NIKITA STIBBARD
Nikita was born in NZ & grew up on the Gold Coast. She has had a dream of being an equine veterinarian and running her own practice since the age of 4! She has extensive experience in the equine industry, completing externships in 4 countries. Nikita loves her job and prides herself on providing an experienced & compassionate service. Her main interests are dentistry, dental surgery and lameness workups. She especially loves the great relationships she is able to develop with clients.
Outside of work you will find Nikita at the beach surfing, riding her horses or gardening at home.
Nerissa Cooksey
Nerissa grew up locally in the Woodburn area & was into horses and pony club from a very young age. She loves working on horsemanship & riding down the beach. She says this is her dream job & she loves all aspects of GP equine practice. Outside of work you will find her spending time with her adorable child Huxley & partner Kale, and making improvements to her property or riding her horses. Nerissa is an integral part of the team, and is a jack of all trades! Allowing us to provide an efficient, professional and compassionate service for all of our clients.
